1) The super kidz competition held on 16th December’17
Camellia Public School had a good number of participants, nearly 430 from its neighbouring schools and our existing students. The events were – ‘Sit and Draw’ & ‘Art and crafts’. All participants were awarded with certificates of participation winners were given, winners certificates and trophies .
2) ‘Sishu Mela’ at Subhash Maidan – 1st January’18 to 11th January’18 :-
During the ‘Sishu Mela’, ‘Quiz Competition’ was held on the 6th , 7th of January’18 as a promotional activity. The mela responded to camellia Public School – Madhyamgram .
School timing :- 9.45 am – 3.45 pm.
3) Republic day of India celebration –26th January’18 :-
Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26th January’18 in the Camellia Public School and Camellia Institute of Technology.
A ceremonial ‘Flag Hosting’ and ‘March Past’ was the beginning of the celebration. The flag was hoisted by Director Campus Mr. Avijit Das and Director school Operation –
Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee. It was followed by a Cultural Programme in the Camellia Public School auditorium – ATRIUM. Students of classes Lower Nursery to VII performed before parents and guardians. At the end of the programme snacks were distributed to all students, teachers and the group D staff.
4) Madhyamgram ‘Subhash Mela’ – 23rd January’18 to 6th February’18 :-
Camellia Public School participated in the Subhash Mela programme held from 30th January’18 to 6th February’18 , as a promotional campaign. Quiz competition organized by the Direction of School Operation Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee generated a very good response among visitors and students of different schools of the neighbouring area.
5) Orientation programme – 9th February’18 :-
An ‘Orientation programme’ was held for both the existing and newly admitted students and their parents. The worksheets for orienting the students to the standard of Camellia Public School were very interestingly designed.
The students enjoyed working on them for two hours while the students were engaged with the worksheets and teachers. Director Schools Operation – Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee and the Principal – Mrs. Nupur Saha addressed the parents in ATRIUM auditorium.
The focus of the meeting with the parents was precisely on the CBSC curriculum , the methodologies of the teaching – learning processes to be adopted , the various
co-curricular activities which would be conducted for the students. Personal hygiene and discripline was given primary importance during the discourse. Finally parents interacted with the director and the Principal an specific issues related to their wards progress and development. The entire Orientation Programme ended at 3 pm on brilliant note of satisfaction.
